KBS Shaft Technology
Utilizing feedback from the PGA TOUR, the KBS TOUR® Series features the most advanced steel shaft technology in the industry. KBS shafts maximize energy transfer to ensure a smooth feel through impact and are proven to produce a more piercing trajectory, tighter dispersion and increased ball control.
ADVANCED BUTT
.600 diameter and optimal butt length support player stability through contact. Results in improved accuracy and shot control.
HIGH CENTER OF GRAVITY
52% balance point allows for more mass in center of clubhead without changing swing weight.
STREAMLINED ENERGY TRANSFER
Proportionate step pattern and wall thickness maximize energy transfer for better feel and distance.
STABLE TIP SECTION
Promotes piercing shot trajectory and spin control.
TAPER & PARALLEL TIP
Standard fit for all hosels allows for simple fitting and custom tuning.

#1 SHAFT PERFORMANCE
Kim Braly, director of R&D and KBS Tour operations, is one of the foremost authorities on steel golf shafts. Kim’s design and manufacturing experience, combined with direct feedback from the best golfers in the world, are main contributors as to why KBS has grown so rapidly.

Integrated Weight & Flex
The KBS TOUR® Series optimizes player performance by offering a unique integration of shaft weight and flex; when shaft weight increases, flex stiffens in a corresponding manner. The progressive weight and flex system works in five gram increments, moving from 95g to 130g, and is designed on the premise of Cycle per Minute (CPM) matching, a method KBS shaft designer Kim Braly helped pioneer.
Progressive weight and flex serves two major purposes. First, it guarantees players are fit with a shaft weight and flex that are based on swing speed. Second, it ensures each set of KBS shafts is precisely matched in flex and weight for more consistent performance. Slower speeds have a tendency to fit into lighter weight shafts, while faster swing speeds will move into heavier weight options.
